Now serving bottomless brunches every Saturday & Sunday 🥂 Bolt-on free-flowing Prosecco for two hours for just £20 when you enjoy a main meal… book online!

We are a restaurant and café bar set within the iconic Hastings Contemporary gallery in Hastings Old Town, run by the team behind restaurant and wine bar Farmyard in St Leonards.

We reckon we have the best view in Hastings, overlooking the historic Hastings fishing fleet on the beach in front of us, as well as the Harbour Arm and East and West Hills and Old Town.

We are open Tuesday-Sunday and serve coffees, teas, breakfasts, cakes and bites from 11am, and full brunches and lunches alongside an extensive selection of natural and biodynamic wine, local craft beers and cocktails from midday. We close at 5pm, with last food orders at 4.15pm.

Book a table here.

Alongside as-fresh-as-it-comes Hastings fish, landed a stone’s throw away and brought straight to the kitchen, plant-based dishes reign supreme, showing-off the bountiful harvest that Hastings and the surrounding area has to offer. Sea and Shoots.

Decadent brunches are served into the late afternoon on Saturdays and Sundays with everything from Kippers and Kedgeree alongside oysters, constantly-changing specials, fresh juices, Bloody Marys, Espresso Martinis and the option of bottomless fizz.

Our drinks list is built around wines that are biodynamic, natural and low-intervention, with several wines, craft beers and cocktails served on tap – minimising the environmental impact of excess bottles and transport. This is just one of the ways we take sustainability seriously: ethical and eco-friendly are at Boatyard’s core.

Access to Boatyard is free for all Hastings Contemporary members, who can each bring up to three guests, and starts at just £27 per year (that’s £2.25 a month – less than the price of one of our delicious locally-roasted coffees).

Find out more about membership and its perks here, plus admission fees.

Coming as a group and not members? Take advantage of our group dining & entry package.

We also hold regular supper clubs and events – watch this space – and can be hired for private events with a stunning view. These don’t require any kind of membership or entrance fee.

We hope to see you soon.
